Thanks for cross-posting at Live Journal! My name is Andrew Kottenstette, and I hail from Rye, Colorado. I have been to both Ireland, and Scotland once. I love that staircase you've used as a backdrop. (What, and where is it?) I am a mouldmaker who is developing a business in the cast stone industry. I'll bet your family is healthier for all the walking. And dude!: Umbrellas! One question: What are you doing there...I mean, for a living? I've been trying to figure out how to come over for work (and more apt culture) for a long time. As for the fungus, I think I'll stick to my chicken enchiladas, laddie.
We are an American family living in Belfast, N. Ireland while my husband attends grad school.
Life without a car means we walk a lot, most of the time with a camera in hand. I have a proper blog with full accounts of life as a foreigner that you can read here.
However, if you prefer the condensed version you can keep on eye on The Belfast Bunch. When we get back from an outing we pick our favorite photo and post it here!

It's a staircase that you go up to get to a bridge/overpass. If you watch this clip:

at 3 minutes an 47 seconds into it, it will show the same type of stairs.
My husband is attending grad school at Queens and he also works for an American company with work he does online.
Thanks for reading!
